Well it looks like this could be interesting, on the plus side I am told that alot of people speak English over there too. So I really should just need to know the basics you know bed, bathroom, breakfast ect...

The Date Is Set!

Greetings from the Midwest!

The date is getting closer and closer...I really haven't had much time to get prepared for the trip as we have been quite busy traveling with many of our student groups all over the country. We have however gotten a chance to book flights from MPLS to JFK and JFK to PRA. So I am very excited to see this, and now the hardest part is just waiting patiently for the day to get here!

In the free time I have had to look into the Czech or more appropriately when I was screwing around I found this hilarious news brief from the Onion on the Franz Kafka International Airport in Prague. http://www.theonion.com/content/video/pragues_franz_kafka_international it is a little discouraging to those who will be heading there. According to the new brief I wont even make it out the doors and most of the moving sidewalks lead to dead ends. For my sake I hope this is not true!

So in the next 4 weeks I will be digging in and researching more about the country to prepare myself for my big trip. Hopefully at least learn a few basic phrases in Czech to help me find

"the water closet"

More to come....
